Hot School Meals (provided by Chartwells)
We are very pleased to announce that you are able to select, book and pay securely (if required) for the exact school lunch for your child online using a secure website called ParentPay.
To ensure a meal is available for your child, all lunches, including Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) and Free School Meals Pupil Premium (FSM), will now need to be ordered by midnight on a Thursday, at least one full week in advance of the week they are served. You can book for a week or several weeks in advance. Meals ordered will be allocated to pupils at the service counter using the latest technology to ensure each child gets their chosen meal, even if they are the last in the queue.
Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) and Free School Meals Pupil Premium (FSM)
If your child is entitled to UIFSM (Early Years/KS1) or FSM, a lunch order must be placed for your child for every school day, including school trip days when you can order a school trip packed lunch. Should you wish to provide a packed lunch from home on any day that is also fine!
Paid Hot School Meals for KS2 Children
You can now select, order and pay for meals for your KS2 child via ParentPay. ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
Your ParentPay Account
In order to set up your secure online ParentPay account, you will need a unique set of activation codes. If your child is entitled to UIFSM, FSM or you currently order and pay for a hot school meal, your child will be given a personalised activation letter to bring home with them today. Please check your child’s bag to ensure you receive this letter.
Please note, the activation letter is for the first primary contact only. If you require a secondary account to enable an additional adult to make orders, please email the School Office with your request.
Special Diets - If your child has any food allergies or intolerances, these must be registered directly with Chartwells, via your online ParentPay account as soon as possible as they will need to have a Chartwells Special Diet Menu in place and will not be able to eat from the standard menu.
