Well-being Booklet

Dear families

'A lot of people are finding things tricky at the moment, and allowing myself to realise that these are difficult times for everyone, and that it's okay to struggle has really helped my anxiety surrounding this situation' Madeleine, aged 19

I think we can all relate to the quote above and in these uncertain and difficult times, we know that it is important to look after our mental health and well-being as much as we can. We receive a lot of information each week from different organisations with their suggestions on how to do this, so we thought it might be helpful to produce a booklet containing some of their ideas, which is attached to this email.

Having read through the advice it seems that the NHS’s 5 Steps to Mental Well-being summarises everything – so that seemed a good place to start and we have used that as our base.

As you will see there are different suggestions within each section, as what works for one person may not for another, and it is sometimes necessary to try a few different things to find out what works best. Links to the websites are also included so you can find additional information.

We hope you find the booklet informative and helpful but as always, if you have any specific concerns or worries, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Kind regards
